On this conditionally demanding tour you climb the summit of the Plessenberg, the local mountain of Breitenbach. The wonderful views in all directions reward the efforts of the day.
Starting from the Breitenbach Kaiserblick bus stop, the wonderful alpine landscape opens up to you after the first few meters of altitude. The first summit of your tour is the Ascherkreuz, where you can take a break and motivate yourself for the remaining meters in altitude. It continues first through wonderfully dense mountain pine forests, over rocky ground to the final iron stairs to the summit of the Plessenberg. Once there, you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. The Großglockner and the Großvenediger are probably the most prominent representatives that you can see from here. Your way back takes you on a different route, but no less beautiful, back to Breitenbach in the valley.
