On the way through northern France and Normandy, from Étretat to Bénouville, along the GR21 coastal hiking trail, always along the Alabaster Coast. The GR21 is one of France's most beautiful coastal hiking trails, having already been awarded this status in 2020, and runs approximately 190 kilometers along the Alabaster Coast from Le Tréport to Le Havre. Between Étretat and Bénouville, along the steep coast with its chalk cliffs, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the English Channel.
@ another very nice tour northeast of the cliffs and chalk cliffs of Étretat. Once again breathtaking impressions etc. Tip: the parking is much cheaper in the afternoon!
Etretat the second: today we hiked north from the promenade in Étretat. First, a very steep stairway up to the church Notre Dame de la Garde, which is currently scaffolded and unfortunately not accessible. Then we went along the coast from Porte d'Aval to Bentonville. Soon we could see Aiguille de Belval, the rocky outcrop in the sea. Many cows are still grazing here. Another beautiful tour, although it was somewhat marred by heavy rain in the last third.
