Trail Reviews

Roberto Vetturani
June 28, 2025, Le cime del Monte Bove - giro ad anello da Frontignano - Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini

It's a real shame that 9 years after the earthquake, it seems like no time has passed, everything still needs to be sorted out. It's a beautiful route, with the almost mathematical certainty of always meeting chamois to keep us company. I highly recommend anyone who has never been there to try this experience.

You park in the upper part of Frontignano, the walk takes several hours, there is a whole initial climb up to the crest. If it's hot, bring water, however during the descent from Croce del Bove towards Frontignano there is a fountain on Trocchi to water the animals, the water is drinkable and fresh. After the source there is the last steep uphill section, then the mountain is devasted x Frontignano.
