The red post route of the State Forestry Service in the Harderbos
Beautiful route but beware: the Red Route is 8.5 km and the Blue Route is 4.5 km.
A nice walk through this nature reserve. We pass several waters. The beavers will feel at home here, but we don't see them and no traces. Due to the construction of nature-friendly banks, there is a diversion in the route. The first part of the detour is very nice, the last part is on a paved bike path along the main road. We're crossing the law. Fortunately, we can quickly pick up the original route again. On the last part of the route we encounter cattle in various places. Sometimes they are on the path, just try to keep walking and keep 25 meters away. Via a wooden bridge we cross the Wetering again and walk back to the parking lot.
Route from the app NatuurRoutes (Beverroute Harderbos). Very swampy at times but nature is beautiful, absolutely worth it. A lot of mosquitoes
