Nice route despite the bad day we chose. Accompanied by my friend Juan we left from the San Cayetano picnic area towards Picacho, it is a tough but accessible path with very cool views. Then we went down to the track that goes up from the Hondón picnic area passing through San Yuri and cresting the mountain. BE CAREFUL! When we got to the track we turned right to go down the very centre of the ravine. THIS IS A MISTAKE!! and we had to go back to take the parallel path on the left, which also goes through the ravine but at a higher level. It is easier, less dangerous and more beautiful. Along this path and without leaving it you return to the San Cayetano picnic area. Recommended route to do without children and in good physical condition.
Today we went up to the Pico with the most beautiful blue sky and 18 C. But... We had gusts of over 55 km/h, so we were denied the last few meters to the top. We could only have done that on all fours. Maybe again soon ;-)
