Sharp Tor Coastal Path

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

The way here is not difficult. From Salcombe take the ferry to Souths Sands and from there it is only a mile or two and you are on a lovely stretch of coastal footpath. You can continue walking to Bolt Head and then along the wall to Overbecks Garden. A wonderful little round.

Bolt Head is the headland south of Salcombe. It's owned and managed by the National Trust and makes a great section of the coast path.

Soar Mill Cove

In a valley just outside Salcombe, Soar Mill Cove is in the most incredible location… with miles of majestic National trust coastline all around, a secluded sandy beach, great for swimming.

The headland looking back on Hope Cove and across to South Milton Sands. A nice stead walk up with some rockier bits near the top. Make sure you’re wearing suitable footwear if you want to get to the top of the view point.

Hope Cove Harbour Beach

Highlight • Viewpoint

The larger of the two beaches at Hope Cove, this bay is great for surfing, with large sandy areas and even a sheltered area which is great for a paddle board! This beach also includes beautiful shells and beachy stones, found in the rocks when the tide is out.

Hope Cove Beach

Highlight • Viewpoint

Hope is a charming village with two beaches including Hope Cove. Excellent for swimming, enjoy the clear water and relaxed atmosphere before checking out the cafes and ice cream outlets. The cove gets busy in summer but there's usually a spot you can call your own.
