The Monna Lisa race invites you to discover the Causse Noir from all its angles. Demanding climbs lead to natural viewpoints which offer a range of striking panoramas over the valleys around Millau.
The loop begins with a relatively accessible section which crosses the hamlet of Carbassas before tackling the climb of the Croix de Paulhe. Located at an altitude of 846 meters, it offers a vast panorama of the Tarn valley while overlooking the villages of Compeyre, Paulhe Rivière and Boyne.
Then there are sandy tracks and portions of forest which lead to the Corniche de la Dourbie. A new aerial viewpoint stretches over the valley while overlooking the village of Monna which inspired the name of this format.
A balcony section guides you to the emblematic summit of Millau, the Pouncho d’Agast. This superb section which evolves on the summit of the Causse Noir offers spectacular passages. Finally, a final descent passes through the owl cave before returning to the starting point not far from the Tarn.
