River Till Off-Road Trail

An off-road section following the River Till. It’s a little overgrown in places but makes a nice link between Drovers Lane and Doddington Bridge. It forms part of NCN 68 (otherwise known as the Pennine Cycleway).

The River Till is a tributary of the River Tweed and is the only major tributary to flow wholly in England.

Weetwood Bridge

Weetwood Bridge is a Scheduled Monument that crosses a picturesque stretch of the River Till, southeast of Weetwood Hall. The single-span bridge was built in the 16th century and was altered in the 18th century. The structure is constructed from materials including grey sandstone ashlar and pink sandstone.
