Three valleys of Varese – Gravel Experience

This Tour is the official route of the Tre valli varesine, a cycling event dedicated to the discovery of the territory of the lakes of Varese and the valley area, open to everyone and with every type of bicycle: mountain bike, gravel, e-bike.

The Tour develops on a fascinating route from a landscape point of view: you pedal starting from the Varese train station in complete immersion in nature, touching Lake Maggiore, Lake Varese and Lake Monate.

After an initial descent towards the valleys, you pedal safely alongside the lake, among woods, hazelnut groves and small villages, and then begin a fun segment of ups and downs in a unique setting.

The route is a mix of asphalt and dirt, and allows you to pass some unmissable sections such as the Brebbia-Monvalle cycle path, the former Sonnino roofing factory, the Quassa park, the villages of Ispra or Bardello, where a picturesque cycle-pedestrian bridge allows you to cross the river of the same name. With a final dirt climb you reach Varese again at the end of this unforgettable gravel loop.
