From Foppelle di Foppolo to Corno Stella via Lago Moro - Mon 11 Nov 2024
It's really cool to get that high even though there's still a lot of snow around Lake Moro is practically completely frozen but I found the path to the star horn quite clear except for some slabs (easily bypassed) on the final ridge path. around 12 something the sky had partially opened so much so that I managed to get half an hour of sun at the top only to find myself immediately afterwards in the rain.
The first time I climbed Corno Stella, I was 6 or 7 years old, and my dad told me it was MY mountain. For a few years, I returned regularly, and every year I said, "I'm going to MY mountain." Then I took my children there, and I told them the same thing. Who knows if in a few years I'll be able to take my granddaughters there too... and maybe I'll tell them... that I'll leave it to them as an inheritance🤣🤣🤣
