Old Kona Airport Beach

Highlight • Beach

This is a beautiful, uncrowded beach just north of Kailua-Kona. Though there's lots of sand, the shoreline is a bit rocky, which is probably why this beach is less popular than others in the area, but if you are looking for a quiet place to hang out close to the city, this spot is perfect. There are picnic tables and washrooms. Plus, on the other side of the parking lot is the Maka'eo Walking Trail + Gardens.
