Another tour in the Netherlands today. And the Lower Rhine is as flat as a six-pack stomach on the Dutch landscape. 🤣 The district of Kotton belongs to the Dutch municipality of Winterswijk in the Achterhoek, also part of the Gelderland and is close to the German border.🤝 I started at the garden and landscape planner Rosenhaege. On this tour you can expect asphalted paths, gravel paths and beautiful forest sections from time to time.🌳🌲🌼 Positive highlights of this tour are the Steengroeve Winterswijk quarry, the anti-junk shop, the border crossing, the Celtic coffee house and the British Shop - great place to stop off with a special flair At Rosenhaege you can see the remarkable show gardens covering an area of 4.5 hectares. At the moment the areas are still being worked on, many things are just beginning to grow and blossom. The facility is open all year round except Mondays. Admission to the gardens is €5.
