Haw Crag Summit and Quarry

Highlight • Structure

This hill is only at 206m, but the views of the Dales from here are fabulous and extensive. On its southern side, there is a disused grassed-over quarry thrown in for good measure.

Note: the actual summit is off the main path, and if walking off path over hilly grass is not quite your thing, you might need to admire it from a distance.

Weets Top

Highlight • Summit

This hill is easily accessible from Malham, but feels a million miles away. Once up here you can walk for miles on moorland paths without seeing another person while looking down on the fields full of cars in Malham. Weets can also easily be combined with some of the big sights in Malham such as Gordale Scar and Janet's Foss for a walk of two halves.

Winterburn Reservoir

Highlight • Structure

Winterburn Reservoir is located near the village of Winterburn in Malhamdale, North Yorkshire, England. It was constructed between 1885 and 1893 by Leeds civil engineers Henry Rofe and Edward Filliter to help maintain levels on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The cost of construction was estimated at £45,000.
