Today an easy mountain tour with beautiful distant views 🤩...
We started in cool fog. Above the clouds the visibility was simply fantastic.
Tour cannot really be recommended. There are much nicer things to do in Madeira.
Little interesting tour, dusty paths full of cow dung, few views that you have elsewhere desolate landscape. There are 100 better tours in Madeira
Skip the "detour" at the beginning of the tour. A cross-country abbreviation was indicated in our description, but it no longer exists.
Wow, what a difference 😀 A few days ago we had to do the hike due to a change in the weather with clouds and. The rain stopped, today there was a bright blue sky and endless sunshine ☀️ The path itself is relatively boring, mostly on a wide, stony forest path. However, the view of the highest peaks in Madeira and the Ribeira Brava valley is magnificent. After the summit of Chão dos Terreiros, the hike continues back to Fontes as one of the few circular hikes in Madeira. I wouldn't do that again next time because afterwards it's almost just a road with little traffic and no highlights. The way back on the same route as the way there might be more interesting.
A really beautiful hike and if you walk like here on Komoot it is for everyone
