Dalby Forest Blue Route First Climb

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

A good climb on the Red / Blue MTB trail here straight from Low Dalby. It can be difficult to begin with, but I suppose that's what it's all about, isn't it?

Blue Berms, Dalby Forest

Highlight (Segment) • MTB Park

A great set of chicanes (curves in the path) here in the heart of Dalby Forest. Great practice opportunities while cycling through the peaceful forest.

Steep Drop and Berms on Jubilee Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

A fantastic drop here, with lots of berms on the way - MTB heaven! Once you've dropped to the forest road below, turn right (north), and it's an easy ride from there to Low Dalby.

Trail Reviews

Erin - The Walking Mum
August 26, 2024, Dalby Forest Blue Route

A fantastic fun route with lots to play with, great berms and access to beautiful parts of the forest. Starts and finishes at the main car park. Access to the forest is free for Forestry Commission members and £10 per car otherwise. A trip to the Courtyard Cafe at the end is well worth a visit. We rode this as a family with a confident 3 year old on a mountain bike who needed towing in parts.

Bottles x6 Cans x2 Wrappers x12 Mis x1 Forestry bits x2 #onebagchallenge

This was great - level of difficulty about as much as I ought to do on my (non-mountain) bike, with the last pitch being slightly more difficult than that. If trying to follow this recording, the beginning is confused because the traildoubles back on itself a few times and Komoot mis-directs you. So to get going, just head up the swithback which is uphill from the main car park. It's signed red, blue and "demo".

A lovely short sweet spin on the blue with the husband and the trail pup. As always the pup nailed it, despite not having run the blue for quite awhile she remembered it perfectly. Us humans didn’t do to bad either despite doing a pretty taxing ride Sunday i felt pretty good and fit on the bike. Happy days!!
