This route was planned by komoot.
Beautiful tour. But would describe it as moderate to moderately difficult, since one section was a pushing passage for us. (Approx. at 1km 100 meters of altitude with stones, impassable). Otherwise everything is drivable. Some stones, gravel on the way, but doable with support. Have fun!
End of June 25. Departure from the Airolo cable car for a ride almost always on asphalt that takes you to the Passo del San Gottardo, packed with tourists but with the MTB it's a moment and you're out of the crowd. Spectacular views. Tiring ride also because of the cobblestones that at the end make themselves felt. 7
As a repeat offender on the road. I already had the tremola on the menu on June 27th. Today is the start at the hospice instead of in Airolo. The tremola is therefore the dessert and the final course. Which is not to be despised either. The last time the starting point was Airolo and the tremola could be taken as a starter. If the weather is nice and the temperature is high, you should consider whether it is better to do this passage, which is very exposed to the sun, at noon of all times. But the approach and the warm-up part with the great downhill speak for a start from the hospice.

I had the old tremola on the menu for a long time. Taken today as a starter from Airolo under the wheels. Sorry, the many photos of the serpetines had to be. This building is absolutely impressive and fits perfectly into the landscape. In the most spectacular section, the road overcomes a length of four kilometers, 300 meters in altitude in 24 bends. From the hospice, a military road leads another 150 meters up to Passo Scimfuss. It is the basis of the wonderful high-altitude path into Cal Canaria and the long descent down to Airolo. This leads in a shot ride on the alpine road down to the valley floor of the rustic side valley of the Leventina, then it becomes a little more comfortable on the road through the steep forest flanks. The descent ends right in the center of Airolo. All in all, an impressive and perfect round trip. The ascent on the path stones offers a unique feeling. The trails from Passo Scrimfuss can be driven at a good pace.
Wow, wow, wow 🥇 🚵♂️ 🌞 This tour gets a very clear gold medal from me. 🔨 🚵♂️ 💪 Sack Starck. From Airolo you first go car-free and across country to the Tremolastrasse. At first there was really no traffic. Then a couple of motorbike drivers who could no longer hold their orgasm in the first bends. From Chiassin, where the cobblestones begin, it was quiet. No more than five cars to the top of the pass. After a strong espresso, the journey continues with a moderate ascent to Lago della Sella. At the end of the reservoir, the road is finished and no road allows for a circumnavigation. A very simple one-plank bench had been prepared for my reception. Also on the way back there are fantastic pictures of our beautiful alpine world. The view from the Passo Scimfuss (2241 m above sea level) is absolutely stunning. Until then it's always a bit up and down in thin air. The Panoramaweg is wide and easy to drive up to above Orello, S0 - S1. Then a long "downhill" begins, where you can destroy 800 meters of depth. It is actually a wide, washed-out path, sometimes very steep and loose stones, S1 - S2. Various Alps are developed here. You always have to expect oncoming traffic. From time to time you can also let it roast a bit. In summary, a fantastic tour. 🥇🔨🥇
Great scenic ride. Very few people on the itinerary. Only at times pedaled from km 19.5 to km 22.5. for the rest, great pleasure 😄
