Piratenweg (Pirate Trail)

A pirate adventure far from the sea: That's what this almost 3 kilometer long circular tour promises, which begins directly at the Komperdell mountain station. Up here at an altitude of almost 2,000 meters you are surrounded by a fantastic mountain panorama.

After just a few meters there is a chime waiting for you at the side of the path. The motto of the hike is set: It will be a day of playing and discovering. And it all revolves around a pirate treasure. Once, on a stormy night, a ghost ship appeared in the middle of the forest. The children are now following in Captain Pepper's footsteps. Where did he hide his treasure and what is this treasure anyway?

For example, a crow's nest appears on the side of the road, which must have once been part of the ship. A treasure map and of course the ship itself are further stops on this interactive tour. When all the puzzles have been solved, the little pirates go back to the starting point.

You can easily reach the Komperdell mountain station with the lift from Serfaus. You can buy the puzzle block with stickers that goes with the Pirate Trail at the information office in Serfaus, for example. Large parts of the circular tour lead through the forest, making the hike pleasant even on warm summer days. The path is also suitable for strollers.
