This route was planned by komoot.
The starting point is Sant' Antonio, which borders the Magadino plain. From here the road leads up the Morobbia Valley, through which the river of the same name flows, to the San Jorio Pass. As you drive through vineyards, the view extends to the mountains and the Magadino plain to Lake Maggiore. In Carena we then go on a single trail that leads through a beautiful chestnut garden to the Monti di Paudo. Then we continue on an asphalt road between the Monti di Paudo and the Monti di Ravecchia. Finally we go back down to Bellinzona. As you descend, you can admire up close the three medieval castles of Bellinzona, which have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. A steep mule track winds its way to Sasso Corbaro Castle, which is perched on a rocky spur, and then continues past Montebello Castle until you finally reach Bellinzona train station.
Beautiful tour, in some sections of the uphill path you have to push the bike
