From Airolo by MTB up the constantly ascending road, or comfortably with the steepest cog railway from Ambri, then a few minutes walk from the train station to the dam (including restaurant). There is a wide dirt road along the very beautiful Ritomsee to the west and a hiking trail on the southeastern bank. From here to Lago Cadagno or Lago di Tom, or to the Passo dels Uomo, the Passo del Sole etc...Don't overlook the many beautiful flowers!
