Nice tour with beautiful views of La Roche-en-Ardenne but unfortunately a lot of asphalt. Nevertheless, we had a super nice day with something adventurous ....

Very beautiful but also tough walk in terms of altitude. Maboge has a nice café 'den erpel' where you can get delicious beers and good food.

With a nice stop at '' den erpel '' for a drink

We recommend starting at the free parking lot (see photo and map). The trail is very beautiful and varied. Unfortunately, we didn't get the view of the Ourthe promised in the photos due to overgrowth 😅 but shortly before the end of the tour, you can at least catch another glimpse of La Roche, which was teeming with tourists when we returned. However, about halfway through the tour, there were beautiful ponds with plenty of plants and life, which made up for the lack of a view from the previous section.

What a beautiful route! Some tough climbs and descents, but worth it for what you see and encounter. Halfway along a long path where the Balsam blooms on the left and right in August. Really beautiful when you walk in between.

Follow the red diamond with number 6. Good signage. Signage is only indicated in 1 direction. The descent just before Maboge is steep. Dangerous in the rain. Make sure you have good footwear. There is a cafe in Maboge and in Borzée that you pass by. The tourist office indicates that the walk takes 5 hours. So we did it in 3.5 hours + breaks. Good luck!
