You can leave your bike at the parking lot and walk this super short trail down to the swinging bridge that crosses the Toccoa River. There are some small cascades on the side of the river that you can spot here, too. This is worth the quarter-mile hike down from the road.

You'll encounter some rocks, potholes, and bumpy patches, with soft sand spots that can become muddy after heavy rains. The initial entry from the main road is particularly steep and bumpy.

What are the main points of interest or scenic views along the route?

A significant highlight of this ride is its accessibility to the Toccoa River Swinging Bridge, which is the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River. How challenging is mountain biking on this route?

This route is generally considered a moderate mountain bike ride. Under dry conditions, it's relatively easy and non-technical.
