From Schenkenzell we cross the small Kinzig. In keeping with the carnival, we cross the Narrenbrücke. Via Eselbach and Nachtloch we go uphill to the Mattenweiher. There are lovely places to sit there that invite you to take a break. From the Kohlbrunnen, a lovely, narrow path leads to the 764 m high Teisenkopf. There are lovely views from the 7 m high observation tower. Unfortunately, it was very foggy today. The way back is via Dürrhof and Gallenbach, mostly on a tarmac road. Overall, a lot of forest motorways. After the tour, we went to Schiltach where Junior played a handball game with the B youth team of the HSG Renchtal.
Wonderful views from the Teisenkopf tower. We started in the center of Schenkenzell. The climb is crisp but worthwhile. The descent is mostly on wide roads. Not that exciting, but it was still a very nice lap for us. On the way you pass lonely old farms. At the Hotel Waldblick you can end up enjoying coffee and cake 😃
