Too busy on weekends near Utlieberg, i would recommend to use a mountain bike for this ride. The last part is very steep (downhill). Not enjoyable on gravel bike !
Riding a Dutch bike on mountain bike trails. The Swiss looked at me incredulously 😂. Who invented it...the Belgians 😁
Via Höcklerstrasse up to the Uetliberg. Short and steep but easy to ride as long as you have a low gear ratio. Otherwise, it's better to ride up at the back. Wonderful views at the top and then on to great gravel paths. So close to the city and yet so quickly in another world. On the way back, you cross the road a few times, but you're mostly away from traffic. You can certainly ride in the opposite direction (the climb is then more on asphalt) but the version you did is definitely nicer 🚴
