We ran this route with our children (8, 10, and 12 years old), two dogs, and two adults. Whether it was for adults, children, or animals, we all had fun. And what I think is important is that it's good to take breaks for a run, even as a family. Very beautiful surroundings. We also think it's a great idea to keep dogs on a leash.
The 2nd tour on April 29, 2023 went to Raesfeld Castle. Very nice castle complex. Many weddings on this day, so it's not easy to take photos without people. Lots of gastronomy in the vicinity of the castle, I was able to convince myself of the quality of the cake in the cake box. Highly recommended. The subsequent path through the zoo was without any particular highlights, but very interesting from an ornithological point of view.
Where you go through many gates over many bridges it is quiet and empty late in the evening! Besides ducks and toads I saw: deer, mice, another dog owner and two joggers. 😉 Romy was able to get her feet wet from time to time and surprisingly I didn't have any problems with mosquitoes either 😅
With Susanne, Eva and Bernhard. Grey, light rain. We were happy to be outside. Castle, place, old pastry shop fantastically beautiful.
This was probably the last hike 🙂↕️ with such pleasant temperatures this year. Most of the leaves 🍁 have fallen from the trees, so it's all the more wonderful to stir up the fallen leaves 🥾🍁 on the ground. The wildlife park at Raesfeld Castle 🏰, with its deciduous trees, is perfect for this – it was so much fun 🤩 🙋🏼♂️
A beautiful Pentecost Sunday in the Münsterland at Raesfeld Castle. All around you can hike for kilometers through a green and largely natural park, only the lateral thinker posters that have just been hung in the trees near the castle area have to be forgotten. Cycling also seems to be very popular in the area, and the Gans family also seem to feel at home. https://www.muensterland.com/tourismus/themen/erlebnis-region-muensterland/burgen-und-schloesser-im-muensterland/schloss-raesfeld/
The break between the rainy days was used for a tour around the Raesfeld moated castle. Wonderful paths that weren't too crowded today, and lots of great motifs.
With daughter Larissa, our Wednesday round was brought forward to Tuesday. A round ☀️ shot through the Raesfelder Tiergarten.
