Hiking
This beautiful hike reveals the many charms that the Quiberon peninsula offers. On one side the wild coast swept by the winds, indomitable and unique and on the other, the more peaceful bay.
The route begins and ends at the Saint-Pierre-Quiberon station. The start of the route ventures east, on the bay side. This first part is more urbanized. In particular, it allows you to discover the Roc-en-Aud dolmen before joining the Bay trail and Kerhostin beach. The perspectives open up and you enjoy very beautiful panoramas of Carnac-plage.
The route then goes around Fort Penthièvre to reach Pouladen beach. The coastal path is a treat. The landscapes are of simple and authentic beauty. Before Portivy, the track passes near the small island of Thinic. The port of Portivy reveals a small enclave typical of Brittany. The salty air moistens your nostrils. Take the opportunity to sit on the terrace of the bar located just opposite the port.
The rest of the route paints a wild and unique nature. The tip of Beg-an-Aud and its tumulus (Neolithic tombs) mark the high point of this route. You descend along the coast to the Port Rhu caves before returning inland.
The end of the route crosses the small streets of Kergoix to reach Saint-Pierre station.

A magnificent circuit by the sea but whose markup would need to be redone. Be careful near the Côte Sauvage! The area there is extremely dangerous (risk of falling)!
