Hiking
Departing from Grand-Champ, this walk explores the surrounding forests. Their bucolic and green setting makes this route a beautiful green break, ideal for those looking for peace and quiet.
After a short passage through the small streets of Grand-Champ, the route plunges into nature. A very beautiful section in the woods takes you to the hamlet of Guenfrout. This part follows a beautiful single track in the middle of a bucolic setting. Be careful along the way, there are some roots in your path.
The walk continues and you pass near the Kerleguen manor. This was the former residence of the rectors of Grand-Champ. Guided tours are offered during the summer months and for European Heritage Days.
The route continues to follow beautiful single tracks to reach the Notre-Dame-de-Burgo chapel. Located in the middle of a military camp, it is immersed in dense nature. Built in the 16th century, it reveals a beautiful western portal molded in the shape of a basket handle topped with a brace.
The end of the walk winds along small wooded paths to reach Grand-Champ.
