Hiking
This walk offers a unique experience for hiking enthusiasts in search of exceptional landscapes. Between the seaside and preserved nature, an immersion in the Rhuys peninsula awaits you.
Departing from Arzon, located at the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan, the route joins Pen Castel and the mill dyke. This is known to be one of the most beautiful tide mills in Brittany.
The route then goes back up the coast following the tracks of the GR34. Otherwise known as the “customs officers’ trail”, it reveals beautiful single trails. Sometimes wooded, sometimes open to the ocean, they pass through the points of the Gulf: Saint-Nicolas, Kernes, and Penbert, each of which reveals unique landscapes.
It’s a real feast for the eyes. Along the way, you enjoy fabulous views of Île aux Moines, Anse Bernon or the smaller islands of Jument, Longue and Berder. If you feel like it (and your legs), take a little detour to the last two points of Monteno and Bilgroix.
The return takes place via Monteno and its fine sandy beaches: that of Treno then to conclude that of Port-Lenn which marks the return to Arzon.
