I was able to observe marmots near the summit cross of the Kleiner Gschnitzer (photo 41). The first marmot that was sighted frightened me when it began to whistle loudly as an alarm 20 m away from me and then quickly disappeared into a hole. Just be patient and stay calm, you can see marmots too.
Hike to the Geschnitzer Tribulaunhütte - not to be confused with the hut of the same name on the Italian side. When entering a search, Komoot only recognizes the Italian hut. The Geschnittee Tribulaunhütte must be marked by hand on the map when planning the tour.
