I was able to observe marmots near the summit cross of the Kleiner Gschnitzer (photo 41). The first marmot that was sighted frightened me when it began to whistle loudly as an alarm 20 m away from me and then quickly disappeared into a hole. Just be patient and stay calm, you can see marmots too.
