At 270 meters high, the Nervión waterfall is the largest waterfall on the Iberian Peninsula. The waters of the river slide through the Délika gorge to create a spectacular waterfall. In addition, the path is flanked by beech and oak trees of great beauty.
To plan the Route, you must take two things into account. The first: in the summer months, the waterfall is dry or only carries a thin trickle of water. The second: in winter and during heavy rains, the trail is inaccessible.
The tour begins in the Délika neighborhood, where you can leave your car in the parking lot next to the restaurant.

This route was planned by komoot.
- Garmin data: 2:52h total time, 220m total difference in altitude. - Video of the relief route: https://www.relive.cc/view/vDqgMD3D7GO - NOTE: the route is a joy, but you have to be careful if the river is swollen, as it has happened to me, because you have to cross the river several times (I counted about 6-7 times on the way out and the same for the back), and each time it was more difficult, in one of the times I had to "make" the walkway by throwing big stones, in another time I lost one of the poles and it went downstream (I managed to recover it by going back along the shore), come on, he has his thing. I still have to finish the canyon another day when there isn't so much water. Although of course, if it doesn't have water it's not so nice!! By the way, from below you can see the viewpoint of the Nervión waterfall that is at the top.
