Today, in wind and rain, we went on the TOP hiking trail Panorama Effelder. The tour didn't blow me away, but it wasn't a complete disaster either. It should show its strengths in autumn, as there are quite a few deciduous forests. The highlight is of course the waterfall.
Today we headed towards Effelder in frosty temperatures. Starting from there we headed towards Großbartlof. The route was characterised by wonderful viewpoints in sunshine. Then Großbartlof slowly came into view. The waterfall is a highlight. Of course you can't forget the Eichsfeld Cathedral. It's an impressive building in such a small place. Easy-to-walk paths, lots of rest stops and places to stop for refreshments rounded off the tour. With a pot of tea and a good picnic in Eichsfeld style 😊👌 it was a wonderful day in a very beautiful landscape. It was great fun 😊

Very nice tour with lots of little highlights, great viewpoints and lots of places to sit. And all in great weather. We will definitely visit the area again in the spring...
Blue sky and sunshine, a perfect combination for this great TOP hiking trail. Be sure to take the detours to the 3 benches and the Uhlenstein with you on this promising tour. Especially from Uhlenstein you have a fabulous view of the Hülfensberg and the high Meissner. A great hiking trail on which you can also collect Touringen stamps 80 and 81. On this great tour, however, the stamps are secondary. In the foreground are the views, the waterfall in Großbartloff, the cannon railway, the Uhlenstein and the cathedral in Effelder. Great tour that I would highly recommend.👍
