For a short, varied, and educational walk in the Solling forest, the Gnome Trail near Sievershausen is ideal. It was part of my Sunday stroll today in the sunshine! Young and old alike can learn interesting facts about the forest and its ecological connections at imaginatively designed stations. The trail invites you to immerse yourself in the mysterious world of the forest on narrow paths and through colorful woods. 🤗 Here you can actively engage with the forest and nature. Guidebooks for children and adults are available at the parking lot for hikers. 👍 I highly recommend the hike described in detail in the book "Experiencing the Wild Homeland on Foot," especially for families with young children! It's the shortest hike in the book. 😉 More information at: www.solling-vogler-region.de
Super beautiful and lovingly laid out path, especially for children😁😁😁👍! But adults can also have fun and learn something!

Since I was already in the area, I quickly walked the Wichtelpfad (Witch Trail) in Sievershausen to see if it would be an option for my grandchildren. It's a cute, not-too-long walk with exciting, educational stations where there's plenty to learn, experiment with, and discover. And, at the same time, the little ones get some exercise in the forest, encouraging them to hike in nature.
The second Solling stamp. Under magical conditions... (Permission to publish the images has been obtained)
