This route is by far the most beautiful! Well-signposted, almost all of it through the forest, so it's always nice and shady. The village of Fohlenplacken is also beautiful, and you can finish with a cold drink at the Cafe Waldschloss. Highly recommended 👍🏻
On this beautiful Thursday there was at least time for a little round in the afternoon. 🌞🥾 From the small Sollingweiler Fohlenplacken I walked on the relatively new mountain and valley circular hiking trail (N 6), which is very well signposted and is one of the "wild" quality tours in the Solling-Vogler region. Although it is more of a circular walk in terms of length, it is really very beautiful and varied. The tour mainly runs along natural forest and meadow paths, there is a bit of a view and some historical impressions along the way. 👌 More information at: www.solling-vogler-region.de
