Start of the holiday. Easy to walk from the gondola to Zwölfernieder. The descent from there to Autenalm is brutally steep and long. From there to the mountain station it is a walk again.
Today the Elfer Panoramabahn takes you up to around 1,700m. There are three walking groups. Easy - Medium - Hard. I'm walking medium today, not on the 911 but circling the 911. The round demands a lot anyway. The meters in altitude were the same with the summiteers. Afterwards we visit the church in Neustift and walk 4.1 km to the hotel in the heat of the monkeys.
Still not optimal conditions, but at least no more risk of thunderstorms. So it went a little higher today. The circumnavigation of the Elfer massif with a stop at the Autenalm was on the program. Sometimes you were wrapped in fog today, sometimes there were mystical scenarios due to intermittent brightening. From 2200m it flaked slightly. A few splashes of rain below. Despite everything, a beautiful mountain day 🏔️🥾👌🙂 A question in the round. Since I got my new phone (Google Pixel), Komoot has shortened the breaks🤷. Apparently I took a good half hour break altogether. The stop at the Alm alone took over an hour! In between I also made 2 small drinking breaks. In total, 1.5 hours would have to be subtracted from the total time and the time in motion would have to be significantly reduced. Of course, the average speed is no longer correct. Does anyone have this problem too and what can be done about it?
Departure from the village of Neustif. Parking is free but you have to take the ticket with the Stubai Card at the parking meter. Then cable car included in the Stubai Card up to the Panorama Alm below the Elfer. We choose to walk the PanoramaWeg suitable for everyone. Unfortunately it was not possible to climb to the summit due to fog and rain.
Garmin recording 4.1km/h ○Speed in motion
Round around the Elfer from the mountain station of the Elferlift. The steep ascent to the Elferhütte begins immediately at the lift. From there with a moderate incline and a great view of the Gratzengrübl natural site. Now again a little steeper ascent to the saddle on the Zwölfernieder, where there is again a great view. This is followed by the descent, which is sometimes very steep at the beginning, at the end of which we finally reach the Autenalm, where we stopped for a break. Finally with only a slight ascent back to the lift. Paths are easy to do with a little surefootedness and fitness. The initially quite steep descent from the Zwölfernieder may not be suitable for everyone. Here the way back to the lift on the already known route would be recommended. Weather sun-cloud mix, which after morning drizzle finally stayed dry when we started the journey. Sometimes a bit fresh with light wind and clouds, then again pleasantly summery when the sun came out. Very impressive around the Elfer summit with its towers.
A super nice circular hike around the Elferspitze.🏔 Amazing views and a varied route. 🏔🌲This tour is also suitable for people who are not as "altitude-savvy" as I am and therefore don't necessarily have to go all the way to the top.😅👍🏼

I was on the 911 years ago. Very nice, moderately difficult ascent.
But sensational view.
Great tour
