With this magnificent ☀️👍 weather, I'm doing a very nice mountain / high-altitude hike on the whale path. From Bannalp I start my hike, at first the hike starts comfortably, then it goes on a narrow one Mountain path that climbs past the Bannalpsee, which I really liked. With the wonderful mountain scenery where you can admire here and the magnificent view, you can't have it better here & take a look at the Bannalpsee, which is so wonderfully beautiful. On the Walegg 1951 m, I enjoy the wonderful view while having a picnic. By then, you have done most of the work & it goes in the direction of Brunni & further down to the Ristis, where I end my very nice hike. 👍☀️🥾 Instead of sheep, 🐑 it's goats, 🐐 there I committed myself to a picture.
A beautiful hike on the Walenpfad, which is a varied high-altitude hiking trail that leads from Bannalp / Bannalpgebiet to Brunnigebiet / Brunni ob Engelberg. A very nice panoramic hike. In the Brunni I hike further down into the Ristis. A highly recommended hike. 👍👍👌☀️🐄
Finally, a mountain hike—and in the most beautiful weather🌞🌞🌞 At times, it was strenuous and hot, then nice and relaxed, just what we liked. The view was simply magnificent🤩. We were mostly alone. Except for around 12 o'clock, when we met quite a few hikers doing the same tour in reverse. We had a lunch break on Walenalp with an impressive view. The time in motion isn't correct, by the way. We didn't race up and down the mountain at an average speed of 4.6🥵, but rather relaxed. There was also plenty to look at and photograph. But somehow Komoot doesn't seem to like that😵💫
Route from Nidwalden Tourismus: https://maps.luzern.com/de/tour/wandern/der-walenpfad/33623658/ The goal today was not the hiking trail itself, but the picnic at the Bannalpsee. So I took the larger rucksack with a picnic blanket, bath towels, etc. and started the route from the Brunni (Engelberg). The path is awesome and certainly doable by bike during the week with a little fewer people.
The Walenpfad was named one of the twelve most beautiful hikes in Switzerland by Switzerland Tourism! Mega view and exciting tour
