This route was planned by komoot.
Equipe is run by a super nice Dutch couple called Wilma and Mick, and Mick offered to show us his favourite gravel route in the area. My brakes were completely done after the last couple of days, so we stopped by Eat, Sleep, Cycle before we headed out. The first section was familiar to us, and we didn't mind going to Rustik a second time! The knowledge of a local always brings you to the finest roads and the gravel was fast to say the least. We rode through tree plantations and past apple orchards in a much higher pace than we normally ride. It is funny how bringing in another cyclist motivated us to ride a bit harder. After the ride we treated ourselves to a lovely Pinchos lunch in the city before we tackled the climb back up to the guesthouse.
