From the P10 Buffalora car park, we head to the Alp Buffalora in cloudy weather and then, in a rainy westerly direction, to the cloud-covered Munt la Schera. In light rain, we descend to the Alp la Schera, through the wet, root-covered but still beautiful forest, we descend to the P6 car park. Even though the weather wasn't on our side, it was a very nice hike!
Hiking in the national park. From Il Fuorn (car park 6) via Alp la Schera to Munt la Schera. Down to Buffalora to the ore mines (Minieras da Fiern), uphill again to Munt Buffalora and finally back via Alp Buffalora to car park 10.
Saw edelweiss for the first time on this hike!
Beautiful hike in the 🇨🇭 National Park. Start in Il Fuorn P6 past Alp la Schera to Munt la Schera. Continue past Munt Chavagl in the direction of the Ofen Pass. Shortly before the finish, a detour to Il Jalet. Wonderful view of the Munster Valley. Saw thousands of Edelweiss along the entire route from Alp la Schera 😍 But almost no animals, 1 eagle, a few mung gen, that's it.
