This almost 19-kilometer-long tour takes you from Unzmarkt to the Bocksruck in the Murtal adventure region. The 1,763-meter-high summit surprises with its wonderful panorama at the large summit cross. You start at Unzmarkt train station directly on the banks of the Mur. At the beginning you climb up to the church and castle ruins of Frauenburg, where you can already enjoy the first great views.
You hike steadily uphill past alpine meadows and hamlets before entering a wooded area. You cross small streams several times and then you reach the wide alpine pastures of the summit area. The assault on the summit is very relaxed on meadow paths. The mighty Alpine peaks line up in front of you. After a break you climb back down the same way to Unzmarkt train station.
