The Sportful Dolomiti Gravel was born as a dirt track variant of the well-known granfondo organized by the Pedale Feltrino sports association. In its gravel version the event is aimed at anyone who wants to discover the beauty of the Belluno area without looking at the stopwatch.
The three routes of the Sportful Dolomiti Gravel start from Feltre and all end in Pedavena, in the park of the ancient brewery, but they differ in length (55, 79 and 191 km). In this Tour you will find the Media route.
Depart from the beautiful walled city of Feltre. Along secondary roads, dirt roads and some singletrack in the middle of the woods you reach Busche, known for the production of Piave DOP cheese. From here begins a gradual climb towards Arson, which hosts an important astronomical center. In a fun up and down you reach Pedavena, but it's not time to stop yet.
Cross the hilly landscapes at the foot of Mount Avena until you reach Fonzaso. Continue along the Cismon stream which takes you to the Corlo artificial lake. Along an alternation of fun secondary dirt and asphalted roads it returns towards Feltre. Take the cycle path along the Colmeda stream that takes you to Pedavena, where you can celebrate with a cold beer in the ancient brewery.
