Yes, this route shares sections with several other trails. It covers 100% of the WNW Twente - De Welle/Klein-Zwitserland/Koerbelt - blauwe route and also intersects with parts of the MTB-route Rijssen, WNW Twente - Koerbelt/Klein Zwitserland - rode route, and WNW Twente - Klein-Zwitserland/Koerbelt - gele route, among others.
Today I put on my hiking boots for the first time in a long time – finally the sun was shining! This time I chose a route suggested by Komoot, and because the profile looked good, I thought the 37 km drive was worth it. The route was beautiful, with beautiful forests and heathland, and the ice gave the landscape an extra special touch. Unfortunately, the noise of the highway was very dominant in some parts, which made it harder to enjoy the nice sound of melting water on the leaves and the birds, who seemed to be just as happy with the sun as I was.
Nice walk through the woods of Rijssen. Just in time to see the little boom of the Leemspoor go by.
