Another beautiful tour along the Regge river and the surroundings of Ommen. The walk can also start from Ommen station. And it connects seamlessly to https://www.komoot.com/nl-nl/tour/1543146687, making it easy to combine these two routes.
Today we started with 'walking around the Regge'. In contrast to the LAW Reggepad with stages, these are circular walks. And with that you also discover the immediate area around the Regge. We start in Ommen and here the Regge flows into the Overijsselse Vecht. Via the Bethsemerberg we descend to the 'steep bank', a dead arm of the Regge. On the way we pass the 4 concrete monuments. In the distance we can already see the meandering Regge glittering in the sun. The tour alternates between forest, heathland, Regge.
