This route was planned by komoot.
Unfortunately, the journey today was a little more difficult than planned. Due to avalanches, we had to take a detour and were on the road for a good 2 hours. It went through a narrow valley where the consequences of a mudslide were clearly visible, there was still a lot of rubble on the side of the road and unfortunately all the bridges had not yet been rebuilt. A difficult situation for the residents. We were all happy to have finally made it to the Zechneralm at 1900 m. Here the individual hiking groups went on their hikes again. Our group hiked uphill along a beautiful high valley to a mountain lake or the smaller group of 7 hikers up to the summit of the Königstuhl 2333 m. It was a bit of a shame that we didn't have time to enjoy the summit. Our group waited below. Then we went back quite quickly. Those who were very attentive could hear marmots and also see them in the distance. After the summit we returned the same way to the Alm where all the groups met again and had a nice stop. Everyone was happy with their good food and drink and our Mike, the lovely bus driver, brought us all safely back to the hotel via the now open Nockalm road.
