After a good meal, a digestive walk around the Ödensee 😋😉, without a record!
Great round at Pürgg. You could also have gone to the Gindelhorn, but since it was a bit slippery due to the rain, we skipped this detour and will save it for next time. We found the direction of walking pleasant and were glad we didn't go the other way😊
Starting from the Gasthof Dachsteinblick, the route goes downhill through a beautiful mountain forest. Sure-footedness and mountain hiking boots are required. Then it's even steeper back up to the Himmelsleiter. The views of the Grimming and the Dachstein are spectacular. A tour that is not particularly easy, but varied and scenically beautiful.
Easy to do with a dog, although smaller dogs may need to be carried up the stairs. Large dogs can be carried up or down the sides.
