The hike from Lenzerheide to Arosa has everything to offer: refreshing mountain lakes, mystical coniferous forests, airy alpine peaks and natural high valleys.
From the shore of the Heidsee in the center of Lenzerheide, you climb through an idyllic forest up to Alp Scharmoin, where you change to the chairlift with the clever name Weisshornspeed and descend just below the summit of the Parpaner Weisshorn. From here, it's all downhill. You descend the stony flanks over the Gredigs Fürggli Alpine pass, while everything around you becomes greener and gentler again.
Whether at Älplisee or Schwellisee - both are absolute hiking highlights in the region - the panorama of the surrounding mountain landscape is beautiful and invites you to take a break at at least one of the lakes. It's a good hour's walk from Schwellisee to the destination in Arosa; the varied terrain and picture-postcard idyll make the last section a pleasure too.
As the tour starts and ends in different places, we recommend traveling by train. From Chur you can reach Lenzerheide in just over 45 minutes, and from Arosa you can be back at the Chur hub in an hour.
