Aaper Clearing

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

Up and down like a roller coaster - luckily without a loop. ;-)

At this rest area you can have a wonderful rest or have a small picnic. Besides, it is fun to read the boards with interesting information and to see the different animal species of this forest as carvings on a large tree trunk.

Six Lakes Plateau Duisburg

Highlight (Segment) • Lake

The Six Lakes Plateau in the south of Duisburg is simply beautiful. Great paths around the lakes. I like the area with the forest and the water.

On the "yellow bridge" between Masurensee and Wolfssee you have a beautiful view. So that the sailing boats can pass underneath, the middle of the bridge is a little higher.

For a small snack with a cold beer (also non-alcoholic, of course), the feed manger is always worth a visit.

Right in the middle and yet somehow beautifully off the beaten track. On the gravel paths between Duisburg and Düsseldorf, you can explore the area from a completely different perspective.

Has something of that holiday feeling in the country. A beautiful piece of landscape!

Not for racing bikes, gravel bikes are a must!! One section is more suitable for mountain bikes!! But otherwise the tour is worth it!!
