Too bad the storm came... otherwise we would have managed to descend another 5 km and 1000 meters in altitude in a few hours 🤷
Schwägalp in the direction of Potersalp, up the mountain hiking trail, past the nostrils to the Hintere Öhrligrueb, on to Rossegg, then over the blue snow and finally up the ladder to heaven on the Säntis. This is really a beautiful hike, with a certain difficulty. You will be rewarded with fantastic house views, super beautiful mountains.
Under the best conditions (dry conditions) for the blue and white T4 nostril route we went up to Öhrligrueb and finally T3 to Säntis. 😍 We've wanted to do this route for 2 years but unfortunately the conditions didn't allow it before. Since I was traveling today with a dear friend who is a climber, we decided to take a closer look at the Öhrli. I didn't dare go up the last part (although I was close to the finish or summit) so Coni climbed the summit alone. That was okay for me because I wasn't expecting the Öhrli at all. Afterwards we walked up to Höchnideri where we enjoyed a great view. 🥰 The path then continued over the ridge, which was too exposed for me. So we went back down and took the official hiking trail via Himmelsleiter up to Säntis. Unfortunately, it didn't record the route all the way up to Säntis. It was a fantastic day in the beautiful mountains with a dear friend and great conversations 😊☀️😎
