Éislek Pad Vianden

We started this tour around 2 p.m. in Vianden, after completing the nearly 14 km of the not-so-easy "Nat'Our Route #5" 🥵. Both tours have a few minor overlaps (at the beginning, in the middle, and at the end), but that didn't bother me too much, as there were enough new sections and, above all, plenty of nature experiences. I already mentioned the two "special" highlights of this circular hike – apart from the general beauty of nature – in the previous "Nat'Our Tour" (Our Reservoir and Vianden Castle), so I won't go into them explicitly here. What will definitely remain in my memory, however, was the lush yellow broom blossom, which repeatedly provided beautiful photo opportunities, especially in the second section of the route 😅. It was a stroke of luck that we completed the tour at exactly the time when the broom was in full bloom 👍. P.S.: The corresponding pictures - as well as for all other current vacation tours - will only be available in a few days, after I've "processed" them at home 😅.

A hike with many highlights. The composition of the path is balanced with wide paths and trails. Trail lovers will also get their money's worth here

Very varied and you were always rewarded with many great views. 😍 I already knew a small section of the path from the NaturWanderPark delux tour "Ourtalschleife" 🎀. Some adventure sections are also included and you should expect some very narrow paths and a few obstacles, especially on the way along the Our. ☝🏼 There is little space here if someone comes towards you... The tour gets a deduction because the asphalt portion was unfortunately too high (from km 5 for about 1 km). 😮‍💨 The traffic noise, which you heard from km 3.9 - 4.9 and towards the end of the tour from km 7, is not included in the rating this time because it was kept within limits (for a Sunday seemed relatively little to have been rid of) 😉

GravelHikeJulez had described the tour beautifully. I'm happy to confirm the steep climbs. I recommend the small Schönberg pavilion for a rest. Unfortunately, I ran the probably most exciting part at the end parallel to the dammed Our from the power station to the dam in the (semi) dark because I started a little late again.
