This route was planned by komoot.
That was a number. Full of sun and really a nice tour.
Almost half of the beautiful Insieme hiking holiday is over. Yesterday we and our guests undertook this challenging but beautiful hike along the panoramic trail from Muottas Muragl to Alp Languard. I think the pictures make any further words superfluous. Best wishes from the wonderful Upper Engadine, Patrick
One of our most beautiful hiking trails leads from the Muottas Muragl mountain station to Alp Languard. The trail offers many different views, such as the Engadin lakes or the Piz Palü glacier. Many different flowers in full bloom were also on the side of the trail today. We were out relatively early, so the crowds of tourists were limited. This pleasure tour is simply a must when on holiday in Sils or the surrounding area. Today the weather was good and the views were great. I hope the photos say more than any description.
Absolutely in this direction, the host of people come towards you.
Standard circuit in the Upper Engadine: Take the cable car up to Muottas Muragl, from there enjoy the view of the lakes and St. Moritz. Then via Alp Muottas and Margun along the panoramic path past the lower Schafberg with a constant view of the Val Roseg and later of the Piz Palü and Bernina. Finally you reach Alp Languard and take the chairlift to Pontresina. The path is child-friendly and offers a lot for a small elevation gain.
Eighth hiking day in the Insieme hiking camp: Today, after the ascent with the funicular to Muottas Muragl, we started the panorama trail to Alp Languard. This hike really deserves the name and is a real highlight, as the stunning panorama accompanies you almost the entire route. After a picnic in one of the initially rare shady places, there was a coffee in the pub "Unterer Schafberg" before we went with renewed strength to the final sprint to Alp Languard. From here we took a really comfortable chairlift to Pontresina.
Unfortunately, the pictures are all mixed up again 😕. I'll have to get home to write comments and label the pictures. So sorry... too much traveling in this beautiful landscape 🌞⛰️🏔️🪻🌱🌲🌞 😁.
Today - it was a short hike above St. Moritz.
