This route was planned by komoot.
Beautiful round of the Achental cycle path 🚴♂️ with a mix of cycle paths, dirt roads and side roads, with the nicer part and the more attractive route being around Unterwössen and Schleching ⛰️. The glider airfield in Unterwössen is also a great spectacle.
Since I didn't have many applications today, I decided to ride the Achental cycle path. Actually, I had planned this for Easter Sunday, but since rainy weather was predicted, I decided to drive it today. Despite more than 70 km, it is relatively flat and for this area with "only" a few meters in altitude. For that you get pretty much everything on this round. Rolling hills, a sea and snow-capped mountains. What more does a cyclist's heart want. From the official website you can read about the tour: "The Achental cycle path opens up the entire Achental from Lake Chiemsee to the Tyrolean border. It runs relatively flat on well-developed, paved paths, away from roads. The approximately 70 km long, signposted Round can be started in all stage towns. Cycling with "aha effect"
One of the nicest bike tours we have ever done.
Since there were two of us on the road today, there are fewer photos. You don't want to stop too often after all 😉 The Achental circular route is very scenic and very varied! I can only recommend him! Has been on my list for almost two years. But at some point the right time will come 😁 I postponed the tour that was actually planned for today, which would have included a return trip by train.
My heart opens during the round! I could drive it every day! Again, many things not photographed, e.g. the Schnappenkirchl am Hochgern ...
Very varied tour in the valley of the Tiroler Ache
First bike ride of the year. From Grassau, we followed the Achental Cycle Path. A varied and surprisingly flat loop along and around the Tiroler Ache river, passing several moors. We (unpleasantly) shortened the northern section of the signposted cycle path along Lake Chiemsee since we were already familiar with it. Taking the shortcut from @Berge⛰🍀🌺Seen🏖⛵😍 would probably have been nicer (thanks for the inspiration for the tour; I wasn't aware of it before you did it).
Today again more of a flatland stage. Total blockage in my head since the last downhill fall 😵💫 that I prefer to avoid steep descents right now. 🅿️ at the Bergen Cemetery and after the first few kilometers it was time to turn around. The path through the Bergener Moos was so overgrown. Suddenly we were just standing in front of wild undergrowth and we didn't want to go through it 🚳 Small sliding insert at the Wössener See because of too much gravel 🪨🪨🪨. Unfortunately, the museum cafe was closed today, but we found good alternatives for physical well-being 😃☕️🍰
