Gravel riding
On this almost 23-kilometer-long gravel round trip, you will be rewarded with fantastic views over the Seiser Alm and the Dolomites. The varied route circles Europe's largest high alpine pasture and has rustic huts for refreshment.
It starts at the car park in Compatsch and from there a good stretch up the mountain on asphalt. After just a few kilometers you reach the Edelweiss Hut. Here you can linger with a view of the water reservoir or even stop for a break.
Fantastic gravel paths now lead you from hut to hut. The Seiser Alm tour combines unique landscapes with enjoyable moments, and the Mahlknecht Hut and later the Saltner Schwaige or the Rauch Hut are already waiting for you to stop off. Well fortified, you then pedal back to the starting point of your tour.
