The almost eleven and a half kilometer long hike takes you to the legendary Hexenplatte. High up on a lonely mountain meadow, witches probably used to dance here. Do the same as them and dance if you still have the energy after the climb.

This route was planned by komoot.
After arriving by train, I set off early in Sedrun. Today the weather was only good. Clouds hung over the mountain ridge all day, occasionally obscuring the sun. The Hexenplattenweg is already marked at Sedrun station. Soon you'll be climbing up over green meadows and you can see the avalanche barriers high up, from where you'll be able to look down one day. Where the Senda Mises makes a sharp right turn, choose the path that goes up anti-clockwise. A well-maintained and beautiful path leads through the forest and above the tree line through beautiful alpine rose bushes. The higher I get, the fewer alpine roses are in bloom, as there was still snow there. Instead, I can admire loads of gentians, some anemones and other lovely mountain flowers. There are even a few snowfields, but these don't obstruct the path. The view is simply magnificent😁After I found the legendary Hexenplatte, I climbed up to the Alp Caschlé viewpoint at 2249 m. The views here are simply overwhelming. After a lunch break, I climbed back down, past the Hexenplatte and back the same way to the signpost at 2100 m. There I chose the other route for the descent. When I arrived at the Via Uaul Flurin, I took the Senda Sursilvana and followed it to the Mila valley, where I took the asphalt road to Ruera train station.
